AI Art and the impact on Society

In my opinion, AI and other exponential creative technologies are beneficial to humanity if it can help more people engage in the creative process. Given the importance of art for mental stability, I believe this is crucial as our population continues to grow, our devices ensnare us into silos of biased information,  and our societies fracture. In my view the main benefit of art is about the process, not the medium nor the artifact that it creates. The act of creating allows people to share personal perspectives, discover subconscious layers, and gives us fundamental satisfaction as humans. The artifact, or the art itself,  is the proof-of-work whether it is appreciated by anyone or or just by the creator.
